The official currency of Zambia is the Zambian kwacha. The kwacha is issued in banknotes in denominations of ZMK 20, ZMK 50, ZMK 100, ZMK 500, ZMK 1000, ZMK 5000, ZMK 10000, ZMK 20000 and ZMK 50000.
