One year History
About Euro (EUR) Governed by the Eurosystem, comprised of the European Central Bank and the central banks of each represented member state, the euro is a currency that reflects an aggregate of 17 of the 27 European Union member states. It is the second most used world reserve currency, involved in over 20% of traded currency pairs, used by over 500 million people worldwide, the largest worldwide currency in circulation, and its member states represent 14.6% of world GDP.
About Swiss Franc (CHF) CHF represents the Swiss franc in international currency markets where it is the sixth most traded currency and it remains the fifth largest world reserve currency. The CHF is under the monetary policy directives of the Swiss National Bank which has an interpreted mandate of price stability. Once thought of as a safe haven currency the CHF experienced a de facto devaluation in 2011 as the worldwide rush toward safety threatened the underlying Swiss economy.
